The FeFA page

FeFA, or Free-Flow Asynchronous Systems, is an extension of the ECS approach that improves performance of asynchronous pipelines another 10-20%.

A New Technique for Asynchronous Pipeline Control

This paper was published in IEE Electronics Letters, October 1996. It gives some brief explanation of the approach and performance figures compared to a few leading asynchronous methods.

Gotta get me that!

A New Method for Asynchronous Pipeline Control

This paper is a longer and more complete explanation of the FeFA/FOCA approach, and describes a few extensions to the basic technique. It also describes an interesting problem, that of delay skew, and how this is solved in practice. It is to be published in the proceedings of the 7th Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois.

Darling, must have!
