What Did You Say Your Name Was? By Rebecca Page

Leader to Person 1: Hi this is my friend (points to Person 2). I don't believe you have ever met.

P2: Hi, How are you?

P1: Oh fine thanks. Busy though. It's the silly season you know.

P2: Oh, I see. We haven't met before, have we?

P1: No, no we haven't, although I celebrate your birthday every year.

P2: My birthday?

P1: Yeah, that's right. December 25th. That's when you have your birthday isn't it?

P2: Why yes, but I don't know that I have ever heard from you on my birthday before.

P1: Oh no, no I'm way too busy.

P2: And I've never received a card from you.

P1: Cards! Don't talk to me about cards. I've sent hundreds of them. All with pictures of reindeers. Man waiting in the queue at the post office was a nightmare.

P2: I don't think I received any of those cards actually.

P1: Oh no, no, I don't send them to you. I send them to friends, family, work colleagues, you know how it is - anyone I've ever met.

P2: Oh, for my birthday!

P1: Yeah, Oh and then there are the presents. Oh boy the expense! I save up all year just to keep on top of the presents.

P2: Gifts?

P1: Yeah

P2: Well I don't think I've received any gifts from you either.

P1: Oh no, there for you know, to friends, family, work colleagues, anyone I've ever met.

P2: I think I'm getting the hang of this.

P1: Really it's so busy sometimes I wish you had never been born! No only joking! Say what did you say your name was again?

P2: Jesus

P1: Oh yes well Jesus we should get to know each other better. Say Ill put you on my Chistmas card list - got an address?

P2: Not an earthly one, no

P1: Oh well, never mind, maybe I'll call one day, have a chat, find out a bit more about each other, but not in December, I'm way to BUSY!!
