How to Join
To join EEESAU, you can either become an associate member or you can join us by becoming an IEEE member. We provide a number of benefits to our members, for postgraduates and more so, undergraduate students. These benefits include:
- Short courses;
- Assists with membership of EEE organisations (ie. IEEE, IEAust and APESMA); and
- Pizza lunches and other social activities.
Joining IEEE
This is the better option for Electrical and Electronics engineering students as the international organization provide a wide range of products and services for its members. Student membership to the IEEE currently costs $25USD and represents excellent value. Membership entitles you to 12 issues of IEEE spectrum (which is similar to Popular Science). The SA branch of IEEE also organises an extensive program of site-visits and presentations throughout the year. To join IEEE, visit here.
Visit the treasurer with proof of your IEEE membership and a filled-in EEESAU membership form to receive reciprocal membership for EEESAU.
