Prizes and awards
The following are prizes and awards sponsored by various external organizations. Nominations for these prizes are (automatically) submitted by the Board of Examiners in the School at the end of each year.
The EESA Prize
Awarded to the student for best performance in “Electric Energy Systems”: $250
The IET Prize
Awarded to the student currently (following year) enrolled in level 2 who obtained the highest aggregate of marks for subjects in level 1: $400
The IET Female Prize
Awarded to the outstanding third year female: medal
The IEEE Student Award
Best performance in Practical Electronic Design II: $500.
The EIA Prize
For the management of a final year electronics project: $1000.
The Codan Achievement Prizes:
- in RF Engineering III for best overall result in course combined with best RF project in PEEDIII : $200
- in Communications IV for best overall result in course : $200
- in RF Engineering IV for best overall result in course : $200
In addition to the above, a number of prizes are managed by the University of Adelaide. These are awarded subject to certain conditions concerning student performance in undergraduate coursework.
