'''Simon Harmann'''  was born in Illertissen, Germany, on 1990. He received the B.Sc. in electrical engineering from University of Ulm, Ulm, Germany, in 2014 and the M.Sc. in electrical and computer engineering from Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2017. From 2014 to 2017, he was working as a  graduate student research assistant at the Institute of Industrial Information, Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT), with a short visit from September 2015 to March 2016 as researcher at the R&D Division Automotive Products Research Laboratory, Hitachi America Ltd., in Detroit, MI, USA. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. His research interests include biosignal processing and machine learning. Mr. Hartmann is a recipient of the GOstralia! University of Adelaide PhD Scholarship.
